Modern Living-room
A modern contemporary design was created in this living-room using a mix of wall panelling and dark colour choices for the walls, doors and woodwork.
An accent colour is introduced via shades of ochre in the soft furnishings and accessories.
This all combines to create an elegant family living space.
Property Staging project
For this 3 bedroom home in Co. Waterford I advised the owners on what steps they should take to improve the appearance of the house before bringing it to market.
This included advice on;
- paint colours
- furniture layout
- decluttering
- purchase of soft furnishings and accessories
- how to increase kerb appeal
- some minor home improvements that needed to be made
I then styled the home to present it at its best before the professional photography was carried out on behalf of the estate agent.
OUTCOME: The homeowners received an asking price bid from the first person who viewed the house.
Upholstery Work
I can advise you on how to update your furniture in various ways including reupholstering existing chairs. Patterned fabric is a great way to add some colour and interest to your design scheme.
Upcycling is a great way to promote sustainable Interior Design. It also is an easy way to keep costs down when the budget is tight.
Tranquil Bedroom Design
A calm relaxing environment was created using a muted colour palette.
The use of inviting textures from the rug, throw blanket and accent pillows make this bedroom an enjoyable space to spend time in.
Boy's Bedroom/Nursery
I created this jungle-themed design for a little boy’s bedroom which can easily be changed as he grows.
Bright fun pops of colour bring life to this space and make it an inviting space perfect for little imaginations.
The two-tone wall colour scheme adds a fun twist and complements the pops of yellow perfectly.
Painting the skirting-boards and door the same colour as the lower half of the wall creates a seamless look.
