Beo Interiors was set up by Interior Designer Barbara Phelan and is based in County Kilkenny. Beo is a word from the Irish language meaning “alive”. My aim is to bring life into your home through great design and captivating colour schemes. Everyone deserves a home that works in all aspects for them and their families.

I live with my husband, our three young children and two cats so I understand what a busy family home is like.

I achieved my qualifications from The Interior Design Institute and am a member of The Interiors Association here in Ireland. My background in Optics means I have a deep understanding of how our brains perceive colour and light in our surroundings. This is an essential part of my work as an Interior Designer as I have a real passion for colour in Interiors. 

I truly believe that Interior Design should be accessible to everyone, no matter their budget. I aim to create family homes that are both beautiful and functional. My goal is to put you, the client, at the centre of the project. I really listen to understand your needs and requirements. Using my knowledge and creativity I achieve the perfect solution for you and your family.
